Staffing Industry Data Exchange Standards

Sides :The adaptation of HR-XML by the staffing industry (temporary work and placement)
SIDES provides the homogenisation/standardisation of data exchanges between suppliers of temporary workers and their customers which integrate all the different stages of placing temporary workers: from ordering to reporting services, including invoicing.

SIDES France: A Group composed by different staffing companies worked together in order to:

Consider the technical features of the French market : organisation, processes, data, legislation
Include those features in the international standard
Establish the implementation guide for France
Spread and support the standards

France was the first European country to adapt the standard. The common work started in June 2002 with monthly meetings organised alternately by each member of the different staffing companies. The French SIDES standard was published at the end of 2004 and is since then implemented and adopted by the principal staffing companies of the French market.
